Cleber Assis

He has been training students for mathematical olympiads since 2004. He was an advisor professor at PIC – OBMEP (OBMEP Scientific Initiation Project), from 2006 to 2011. He was also a teacher at POTI (Olympic Centers of Intensive Training – Polo Salvador) from 2011 to 2016 and also at POTI virtual from 2018 to 2022. He participated in the correction board of the Mathematical Olympiad of Portuguese-speaking Countries (2012). He is co-author of the OBMEP Question Banks 2015, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.

He is currently a mathematics teacher at the Military College of Salvador. His background: Civil Engineering (Unioeste – 2000), Mathematics (Unioeste – 2000), Master’s Degree in Mathematics (UFBA – 2014).

He is a non-practicing civil engineer, brewmaster and fan of Santos Futebol Clube.
