César R. de Oliveira

He was born in Patrocínio, in the Triângulo Mineiro, but was raised in the city of São Paulo (SP), and obtained his academic training at USP. He has been working with Mathematical Physics, particularly with mathematical problems of Quantum Mechanics, having published scientific articles and also a book on the subject by Birkhäuser.

He is the author of a textbook entitled “Physics in Action: Mechanics”, for high school students, published on CD-ROM by EdUFSCar, with animations, numerical routines, etc. He was a visiting professor at the Università degli Studi di Milano (Italy) and at the University of British Columbia (Canada). He likes to spend his free time with his family and, in addition to enjoying wines, he has the good taste to cheer for Santos F.C.
