Bruno Holanda

He began his participation in Olympiads at the age of 14 and was a medalist in the Brazilian Mathematical Olympiad (OBM) and Ceará Mathematical Olympiad. He participated in several international Mathematics competitions as leader or vice-leader of the Brazilian team, among them: Southern Cone Mathematical Olympiad, 2008 (Chile) and 2012 (Peru) editions, International Mathematics Competition (IMC), 2010 edition (Bulgaria), Romanian Master of Mathematics (RMM), 2015 edition (Romania), International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), 2017 edition (Brazil) and Ibero-American Mathematical Olympiad (IOM), 2019 edition (Mexico).

He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Goiás, in the field of Quantitative Methods. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the Federal University of Ceará (2009), a master’s degree in Economics from the Federal University of Ceará (2012), and a Ph.D. in Mathematical Economics from the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics – IMPA (2015).
