Bernardo N. B. de Lima

Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), with a PhD in Mathematics from the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA) and post-doctoral studies at the Centrum voor Wiskunde en Informatica (CWI), in Amsterdam, and at IMPA. He was an affiliate member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences. He has taught Probability, Measurement and Integration, Stochastic Processes and Ergodic Theory in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. He is an accredited advisor in the Postgraduate Programmes in Mathematics and Statistics at UFMG and the author of dozens of articles published in international journals specializing in Probability Theory. He is a member of the Football Probability group at UFMG.
