One of the goals of the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA) is to produce basic literature for the dissemination of mathematical knowledge, providing the Brazilian community with access to scientific progress in the field and its applications. Our publications aim primarily to facilitate the learning process, in order to stimulate the vocations of young students.
