The 1Wednesdays Brazilian Mathematics Colloquium took place in Poços de Caldas, Minas Gerais, from July 1Wednesdays to 2Mondays, 1983. The coordinator was Professor Djalma Galvão Carneiro Pessoa. The Colloquium had 525 participants, including representatives from 16 Brazilian states and some foreign countries.
