The National Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics Association – IMPA, a non-profit civil association, qualified as a social organization by Decree 3.605/00, supervised by the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communications – MCTIC and by the Ministry of Education – MEC as an intervening party, hereby, in accordance with its Human Resources Regulations, selects a professional to fill the position of ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST 1 .

- MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To monitor the progress of the work performed by the outsourced team;
- Control access for employees and visitors;
- Develop schedules for the security team;
- To monitor the progress of the surveillance team's work.
- Essential requirements for the position:
- Completed or ongoing degree in Security Management or related fields.

- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;

- Experience in security management at an educational institution;

- STEPS:
- Recruitment: In this stage, there will be a pre-selection of candidates based on an analysis of the documents submitted during registration. Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the position will be invited to participate in the selection stage. Notification for the selection stage will be sent by email from the Human Resources Department.
- Selection: This stage will be conducted by the Selection Committee and will consist of the following phases:
- Curriculum analysis;
- Evidence;
- Individual interviews;
- Results announcement: the list of qualified candidates, ranked according to their final score, will be made available on the Institute's website.
- Hiring: hiring of the selected candidate following the ranking order.
- TIMELINE:
October 22, 2020 to November 5, 2020 – Period for submitting applications;
09/11/2020 – Announcement of the names of the selected candidates;
10/11/2020 to 19/11/2020 – Period for completing the stages of the selection process:
24/11/2020 – Announcement of the final result;
30/11/2020 – Deadline for submitting documentation and undergoing medical examination;
01/12/2020 – Expected start date for operations.

- PROCEDURE, DEADLINE, AND DOCUMENTS FOR REGISTRATION:
- Applications should be sent to vagas@impa.br with the subject line: “ Selection – ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST 1 ”, and must be accompanied by an updated resume indicating full name, RG number, PIS, CPF, date of birth, telephone number, address and email.
- Applications submitted after the deadline stipulated in this document will be disregarded.
- The candidate's absence from any stage will result in their automatic disqualification.
- SELECTION CRITERIA AND MINIMUM SCORE:
- Curriculum Analysis – 20 points: evaluation of previous education and experience.
- Writing Test: assessment of the text's coherence with the proposed theme, written communication skills, and grammatical correctness – 20 points;
- Excel test – 20 points;
- Interview – 40 points: assessment of verbal communication, behavior, and experience.
- Candidates who do not achieve a minimum score of 60% (sixty percent) in each stage described above will be automatically disqualified.
- ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS:
- The final results of the selection process for qualified candidates will be published on the institution's website, along with the candidates' full names and CPF numbers (Brazilian taxpayer identification numbers).
- If no candidate is approved, IMPA may, at its sole discretion, resume the recruitment phase, barring previously rejected candidates from participating in the same process, or initiate a new hiring process.
- In the event of a tie in the ranking, preference for hiring will be given to the candidate who obtains the highest score in the interviews. If the tie persists, the higher score in the specific knowledge test(s) will be given preference. If the tie persists, the higher score in the curriculum analysis will be given preference.
- The selection decision does not guarantee the successful candidate(s) a right to be hired; this remains subject to the sole discretion of IMPA.
- Once the selection process and announcement of results are complete, the position will be filled by hiring the selected candidate according to their ranking.
- The selected candidate will be contacted via email by the Human Resources Department to proceed with the hiring process.
- ADMISSION PROCEDURES AND DOCUMENTS:
- The selected candidate must submit the following documents, both original and copy:
- Proof of personal training and qualifications listed on the resume, such as diplomas or certificates;
- Personal documents: RG (Brazilian National Identity Card), CPF (Brazilian Taxpayer Identification Number), PIS (Brazilian Social Integration Program Number), CTPS (Brazilian Work and Social Security Card), birth/marriage or civil union certificate, military service certificate (for males), voter registration card, proof of residence, and birth certificates of dependents;
- a 3×4 photo;
- The selected candidate who fails to prove their qualifications and/or provides inadequate information will be disqualified.
- The Human Resources Department will inform the candidate of the date, time, and location for the pre-employment medical examination, to be conducted by an occupational physician designated by IMPA. A successful candidate must be fit for the hiring process.
- The hiring process will be preceded by the selected candidate signing a statement acknowledging the requirements for the position, the respective salary and any benefits, as well as the IMPA Code of Ethics and Conduct.
- Any doubts or omissions not clarified by this document or by the institutional Human Resources Regulations will be resolved by the IMPA Board of Directors.
- PERSONAL DATA:
- During the selection process, the personal data requested through this call for applications will be used exclusively by IMPA and solely for the proper conduct of the intended selection, as detailed below:
- Full name of the candidate: will be used to identify the candidate and to publish the result(s) on the institution's website;
- CPF: will be used to identify the candidate, especially in case of homonyms, and for the publication of the result(s) on the institution's website;
- Telephone number: This number will be used to contact the candidate when necessary for the progress of the selection process.
