A unique perspective: women's contributions to Brazilian mathematics.
 
Many women have contributed to the construction, maintenance, and development of mathematics courses and departments in institutions throughout Brazil. Many of them shifted their professional focus from research to dedicate themselves to this important mission, and today they are little known by the Brazilian mathematical community. During the two days of the Brazilian Meeting of Women Mathematicians, the exhibition "A Unique Perspective: Contributions of Women to Brazilian Mathematics" will highlight some of these women. The exhibition is dedicated to those who contributed to the flourishing of mathematics in Brazil.
