Abstract: The aim of the minicourse is to provide basic tools in KAM theory. We will start by providing a KAM scheme for one of the simplest settings, that is for analytic diffeomorphisms of the circle that are close to a rotation. Later we will focus on Moser’s scheme in the smooth setting and finally we will show some spectral application in the Schrodinger setting due to Dinaburg and Sinai.
