International Research Laboratory – IRL2924 Jean-Christophe Yoccoz CNRS/IMPA is a research unit of the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS, France), located at IMPA. It was created through an agreement signed by IMPA and CNRS in 2006, which has been regularly renewed since then. As of 2017, IRL2924 honors Jean-Christophe Yoccoz, who was a long-time visitor and friend of Brazilian mathematics.
IRL2924 allows mathematicians from the CNRS, or any French university, to visit IMPA for a period of one year and collaborate with Brazilian colleagues with all costs covered by the CNRS and its institutions.
