- MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring the work of the outsourced team;
- Controlling access for employees and visitors;
- Drawing up schedules for the surveillance team;
- Monitoring the work of the surveillance team.
- ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Degree in Security Management or related field.
- DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
- Knowledge of the office package;
- Technical course in safety supervision;
- Experience in security management in an educational institution;
- Experience in communication between teams using HT radios;
- Experience in managing the schedules and activities of a security and armed security team.

- STEPS:
- Recruitment: at this stage there will be a pre-selection of candidates based on an analysis of the documents sent in when registering, and only candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the position will be invited to take part in the selection stage. The call to the selection stage will be made by e-mail by the Human Resources Coordination.
- Selection: this stage will be conducted by the Selection Committee and will consist of the following phases:
- Curriculum analysis;
- Evidence;
- Individual interviews;
- Disclosure of results: the list of qualified candidates will be published on the Institute’s website in rank order according to the final grade obtained.
- Hiring: Hiring of the selected candidate in the order in which they were ranked.
- SCHEDULE:

09/11/2020 – Announcement of the names of the selected candidates;
10/11/2020 to 19/11/2020 – Period for completing the stages of the selection process:
24/11/2020 – Announcement of the final result;
30/11/2020 – Deadline for submission of documentation and medical examination;
01/12/2020 – Expected start of activities.

- PROCEDURE, DEADLINE AND REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS:

- If the candidate is absent from any of the stages, they will automatically be disqualified.
- SELECTION CRITERIA AND MINIMUM SCORE:
- Curriculum Analysis – 20 points: evaluation of training and previous experience
- Writing test: assessment of the coherence of the text with the proposed theme, written communication skills and grammatical correctness – 20 points;
- Excel test – 20 points;
- Interview – 40 points: evaluation of verbal communication, behavior and experience.
- Candidates who do not obtain a minimum score of 60% (sixty percent) in each of the above stages will be automatically disqualified.
- DISSEMINATION OF RESULTS:
- The final results of the selection process will be published on the institution’s website, with the candidates’ full names and CPF numbers.
- If no candidate is approved, IMPA may, at its sole discretion, resume the recruitment phase, with previously unsuccessful candidates not being allowed to take part in the same process, or start a new recruitment process.
- In the event of a tie in the ranking, the candidate with the highest score in the interviews will be given preference for employment. In the event of a tie, the highest score in the specific knowledge test(s). In the event of a tie, the highest score in the curriculum analysis.
- The selection decision does not entitle the successful candidate(s) to employment, which is subject to the sole judgment of IMPA.
- Once the selection stages have been completed and the results have been announced, the position will be filled by hiring the successful candidate in the order in which they were ranked.
- The selected candidate will be summoned to proceed with the hiring procedures by e-mail from the Human Resources Coordination.
- PROCEDURES AND DOCUMENTS FOR ADMISSION:
- The selected candidate must present the following documents in original and copy:
- proof of personal training and qualifications provided in the CV, such as diplomas or certificates;
- personal documents: RG, CPF, PIS, CTPS (Work and Social Security Card), birth/marriage certificate or stable union, reservist certificate (male), voter registration, proof of residence and birth certificate of dependents;
- a 3×4 photo;
- Selected candidates who fail to prove their qualifications and/or provide inadequate information will be disqualified.
- The Human Resources Coordination Office will inform the candidate of the date, time and place of the medical examination to be carried out by an occupational physician appointed by IMPA.
- Hiring will be preceded by the successful candidate signing an acknowledgement of the requirements for the position, the respective salary and any benefits, as well as IMPA’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.
- Any doubts or omissions not clarified by this instrument or by the institutional Human Resources Regulations shall be settled by IMPA’s Board of Directors.
- PERSONAL DATA:
- During the selection process, the personal data requested by means of this call will be used exclusively by IMPA and solely for the regular realization of the intended selection, as detailed below:
- Candidate’s full name: this will be used to identify the candidate and to publish the result(s) on the institution’s website;
- CPF: will be used to identify the candidate, especially in the event of a homonym, and to publish the result(s) on the institution’s website;
- Telephone: will be used to contact the candidate when necessary for the progress of the selection process.
