Call 01/2019

 

The purpose of this Call is to select up to 4 (four) fellows who will contribute to the execution of research projects within the scope of the Institutional Training Program – PCI, with the aim of supporting IMPA’s Research Areas, by means of a PCI Fellowship in modality D, level B.

The fellows will work on the following projects:

Project 1 – Data Analysis and Visualization in Virtual and Augmented Reality;

Project 2 – Project Evaluation in Uncertain Environments, Numerical Methods for Differential Equations, and Applied Stochastic Optimization. PDEs and Stochastic Control;

Project 3 – Stable intersections of asymptotically holomorphic Cantor sets and persistence of homoclinic tangencies in complex dimension 2;

Project 4 – Kneading sequences for strongly dissipative systems;
