The Deliberative Council is IMPA’s highest democratic, normative, deliberative and jurisdictional management body. It meets ordinarily once a semester and extraordinarily when convened by the Director General, on his own initiative or at the request of 1/3 (one third) of its members.

The Deliberative Council has the highest normative and supervisory function at the strategic plan level, as well as overall coordination, control and evaluation, in addition to setting fundamental guidelines for IMPA’s operation.

It is made up of 6 members of notorious ability and recognized moral repute, as follows:
